I'll cut to the bottom line because I don't want to waste your time. So I want to be a counsellor, and I was wondering: do you need job experience to be hired? I don't mean like, internships, I mean like if I have nothing on my resume other than being licensed, having internships, etc, how would that work out for me? I ask because I can't really think of anything that would be related, and surely a lack of McDonalds experience wouldn't prevent me from getting the position right?
