Experience with this? How did you preserve rapport while turning down an offer after *negotiation (typo in title)? I knew I wasn’t going to take the position after initially interview, but I wanted to see what they could offer me. They offered, I asked their max, they offered final. In the end (as expected) it’s not enough to turn me, so I need to decline.
