Should I stick with my strengths (sales) or go into software development?

Hi all,

I started a software sales job a couple months ago and I have been 2nd overall in the sales team for everything. It's obvious that I have a talent for it and I'm making a lot of money.

It's not that I don't like sales, but I originally wanted to become a software developer. I was in and out of school for computer science with a 3.00 gpa and some side projects under my belt. But I kept dropping out every other semester.

I am debating going to a well recognized technical institute for either a computer systems technology program or a business degree. I'm having a hard time deciding which one.

My work will pay for half of my diploma or degree.
