I am in the UK. 26 years old, female, introverted (INFJ). I studied art at college, event management BA 2:1 at university.
For the past 5 years I have worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities mostly, I also spent one year as an au pair in USA.
This year I have realised I am probably working as a support worker as it is easy. The shifts have become too crazy for me and I feel undervalued so that gives me a push to find a job that is more suited to me and more of a challenge intellectually.
I am quite smart but can be socially awkward. I would prefer to do a job with less high pressure interactions e.g. not sales. I like organising, I like keeping to a schedule and working regular hours.
I have done a few career tests which said I would be good in these fields:
Counsellor
Psychologist
Scientist
Writer
Designer
Human Resources (this stands out to me)
Librarian (this appeals)
Professor (don't like public speaking)
Non profit/ advocacy
Any advice welcome :)
