Dear reddit,
I recently graduated from university and now I am looking for a job as Data Scientist within EU. Now, I am facing a very luxury problem, which is driving me mad: What type of company am I willing to work for.
I basically applied for a hand full of positions at start-ups, consulting companies and bigger corporations. Got invited for interviews and got jobs offered. But how to choose? I really don't know about the up and downsides. Further, I even don't where I want to go within my career.
- I prefer a good work-life balance, but could imagine I would enjoy travelling and being with the customer
- I like the start-up charm, but it might drive me mad, because I need some structure
- the choice of hardware is important to me. On the other hand side, I don't care as long as it gets the job done.
I could continue this list forever.
What questions could I ask myself to make a decision?
