I called in today cuz of my back problem. I can barely move. Got lectured at for not calling in ahead of time. She sound like she was pissed like she always does. And then she said she hopes I get better. Hung up.
She texted me a few minutes later just to double check if she heard me correctly if I'm missing work or coming in later today. I told her I can barely move. I won't be able to go in today or tomorrow. If I could, I would. Then she just replied back saying I should let her know ahead of time. Which I did. I don't even start until later today. My manager even knows I'm having problems.
What makes a bad assistant manager and was their a better way to handle the situation than lecturing at me? I can understand the last minute notice, but with that kind of attitude....iono. I just don't like it.
She's the type whom always mumbles and swears behind customer's back and sees employees as just simply employees. Nit picks everything
