Have an offer from Company A (not a brand company). Waiting for further rounds from company B (a brand company). Do I wait or should I start at Company A?

I am a developer with over 5 years of industry exp. I got an offer from Company A which is not a brand company but has quite a good number of employes (~500). But I have also been interviewing at Company B which is a brand company with over 5k employees. I am not sure how to proceed with this situation. Should I wait for the next round of interviews with Company B?

I have given 3 rounds of interview at company B, and the last one did not go as well as I hoped. The HR from company B said they'll reach out to me with the details of the next round in a couple of days(Can be another technical + management or only management depending on the assessments from the previous rounds).

My employment date for company A starts within a week. I've got good response from Company A in terms of salary and benefits. (Got exactly what I asked for).

  • Do I accept the offer from Company A and start there, and let company B know that I have already taken an offer and will not be able to continue further rounds of interview?
  • Do I reject the offer from Company A and hope to get an offer from Company B?
  • Can I request Company B to speed up the interview process?
  • How important is Brand names when it comes to building ones career? (I've never worked for a brand name before)
