I'll keep thisshort. I'm a product owner in IT, a member of my team in a single day had used phrases like "you should have considered this option" aka, her approach and "that story should have included these three steps I think are important in the acceptance criteria". She questions every decision I make in a condescending tone.
I'm completely for debating to make sure we do the right things but she comes off very clearly as though I dont know how to do my job.
I'm at the point where i want to look for something else because every single decision or deliverable I create she has a better idea for how it could be done and is very presumptuous without having all of the details.
I want to resolve this but dont know the best way. If I confront her directly she'll say shes trying to help. If I talk to her manager then shell be blind sided. If I ask for an opinion of others on the team it will create a wierd dynamic.
Shes not accountable for product owner responsibilities, I am. And the constant "you should have done it this way" is highly demotivating and I'm constantly judged having to defend my decisions instead of focusing on my work.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
