I’ve been in HR for 4 years and I’m 29, im really bored. It seems every office type job I’ve had, I just hate it whether it’s nonprofit, corporate, or at a University it is all pretty much the same. Where I work has great benefits and a lesser work schedule but I feel unmotivated.
How do I transition out and figure out what I want? I have no passion unfortunately. I have a lot of savings and have always wanted to start a business like my family but I never know what to do. Maybe invest in something. I am interested in real estate but so many people I know are agents and it seems flooded. Is there anything close to it? It seems it’s the most “your own boss” type job and schedule which would be ideal. I’m tired of the 9-5.
I’ve even considered an esthetician license and going to school but I'm not sure how well the money is. I'd be happy with at least $40-50,000. I’m finishing my MBA which was free and it’s going to waste.
