I've been interviewing at a consulting firm for a little over a month now. My last interview was on 10/3 with the VP of operations and it went pretty well, talked for longer than our appointment. The HR manager told me when I was leaving that she would be in touch by Friday 10/5 or the following Monday. She's also told me, at the end of every interview, that she would let me know if I made it to the next round or didn't. Monday was a bank holiday, so I figured the company was off that day and that explains why they didn't contact me. But now it's 10/10, and still no contact.
Should I reach out and ask what's going on? If they were not going to hire me then they would tell me that too, so I'm really not sure what's going on. Note that this company usually gets back to me at the very end of the window which they allot themselves, but the problem is that we are well outside the window now. Any advice?
