I work at a start up that works in clinical trials and I have about 5 years experience in the field. I used to be clinical research associate (basically a pre-auditor for trials). This involved a lot of travel and huge work load, so I was relieved to find a 9-5 office job at a start up that focused in clinical trials. I've been at this job about a year now and basically my job is to send emails reminding people to do things and that's it. I've asked for more responsibility and more work several times and mostly what I get are one off projects that no one else wants to do and don't require any actual skill or know-how to complete. It doesn't help that my manager is very inexperienced. This is her first job and she was only there for 6 months before I was hired.
I feel like my skill set is being wasted and eroding the longer I stay, but the pay is very good. So basically, should I leave an easy and high paying job because I'm bored ?
