I'm trying to figure out what to do for money in the future when I'm not living with parents. And with college approaching this question is getting more and more nagging and stressful. I already have a passion art and story type stuff but doing art on commission as a career would burn me out of art. And to sell your art or some story you came up with requires some amount of luck and or connections and I'm not good enough yet anyways.
Anyways I'm in a need of a in the meantime plan until if /when I can make enough to live off my creative pursuits. I want to go and live as minimalist as I can with living situation to reduce expenses so i can hopefully work less than full time ideally around half time. I like the idea of remote work cause could like live in a rural area but still get a job or live out of a van. Also ideally id like it to require a 2 year degree but a 4 years alright just really ant to minimize debt.
Not 100% sure what jobs work like that. As far as me personally I have passion for doing creative stuff. And skills wise nothing at a professional level though in high school I was good at grasping coding when i had to do it. Didn't particularly enjoy it but also didn't mind it.
So was wondering if anyone has advice and ideas on what to do super lost rn, and anxious cause of college. I sort of think webdesign or front end development might be decent as id still get to use my creative side, but not sure how that is as a career choice.
Thank you for reading.
