Hi there, I currently work in a customer care role for a midsize-large startup company. I’ve only been working in this position for a few months but I’ve been increasingly dissatisfied with the way the company is handling things.
I don’t think my values really align with those of the company’s either. Furthermore, we don’t have a guaranteed 40 hrs a week anymore. It may sometimes be reduced as low as 35. I’m currently looking for a new job but was wondering what sort of things I may be able to transition to. Preferably in tech, I’m okay with startups.
I do really enjoy improving customer experience/efficiency so I thought maybe a role in product or something would be a good fit. Other than the role I’m currently in, I don’t have a whole lot of work experience (some management experience).
I’m recently graduated from a 4 year university, majored in psychology and sociology. I’d love to know what some people may think a good fit may be for the future or what to look for.
