I have accepted a new position and there is system training March 19th, 21st, and my one on one job specific training starts on March 25th. The issue is I have prescheduled vacation and won’t be back in the office until March 7th to hand in my notice. Should I give one weeks notice and make my last day March 15th? I technically could come in Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the following week but I’m not sure that makes sense. I already feel bad with giving one week notice but I fear if I put in my notice BEFORE I go on vacation I could possibly be terminated on the spot.
